The Lawn, Union Road, LN1 3BU
Our latest café is located in uphill Lincoln and housed within a former mental health hospital built in 1819 known as ‘The Lawn’. We serve a wide range of freshly roasted coffees and fine teas as well as a full menu serving delicious food all day.
Invented by Stokes waitress Florence Wright in the 1970s, this is a magnificent blend of tea truly loved by our customers!
Fun modern interior and lovely staff that greet you with a smile as you arrive through the door! Great coffee and cakes to die for! Hope it's supported and does as well as it deserves!

It's fantastic to see Stokes branching out again as they are a staple in Lincoln! The Lawn Cafe is stunning and very modern in contrast to some of the other cafes which is really refreshing! Gorgeous quirky decor which fits the location perfectly and makes for a nice place to have breakfast/brunch/lunch with friends or family. The menu has a wonderful range of dishes on offer and after visiting three times and sampling different dishes each time, I am more than confident that the food is delicious, consistent, fresh, homemade and beautifully presented every time! Not to mention the scrummy homemade cakes on offer!

Great coffee, lovely friendly staff and amazing food well presented! Chicken pesto panini was delish! The interior is modern and quirky and I love the use of old coffee machines to make the massive hanging whale and the seats covered in coffee sacks! Can't wait for the viewing area to open so you can see the coffee being ground! Great to see an independent Lincoln business doing well in a sea of Starbucks and Costas!
